Our puppies are raised indoors. They have not been outside. Both parents are our pets and live indoors as well. Our puppies are great with children. My 12 year old daughter works with them daily and they socialize with my 2 year old daughter as well. We have started potty training. Our puppies eat the best quality food and eat well. We currently have them on a raw diet and will provide some along with dry kibble. Mom is about 4lbs and Dad is around 3lbs they love to run around and play and it helps that both parents use wee wee pads so the puppies are used to watching their parents and have started to do the same. My babies run between 4-5lbs. They are generally known to be good around children, therefore the Maltese will be a great addition to have around your family. Although each dog will be unique, temperament can also help dictate each dogs breeds' general disposition.
